The Lisbon Area ARA is an association of radio amateurs. Officially organized in 2009, we promote amateur radio and train in communications for public service events and emergencies.

We offer VE testing every other month and are active in many local community activities.

LAARA works closely with the Columbiana County Emergency Management Agency, testing and training in the areas of emergency communication.

• Frequency: 146.805 FM
• Purpose: discuss items of interest to radio amateurs.

Carroll Amateur Radio Society

• When: every Wednesday 0100 UTC
• Frequencies: 443.200, 147.075, and 51.86 (linked repeaters)
• Purpose: equipment testing and information sharing
